What is the procedure for filing a complaint with the Commission?
With regard to Lobbying issues, an individual may submit a letter, email or other communication, which contains the following information: 1. The name of the Lobbyist or Client involved in the alleged violation. 2. The nature of the act which serves as the basis of the complaint. 3. The name, address and telephone number of the individual making the complaint. 4. Dates, locations or any other known information, which may be relevant to the alleged violation. On matters related to the State Ethics laws, an individual may submit a letter, email or other communication, which contains the following information. 1. The name of the State officer or employee or former State officer or employee 2. The nature of the act which serves as the basis for the complaint. 3. The name, address and telephone number of the individual making the complaint. The individual can also choose to remain anonymous. 4. Dates, locations or any other known information, which may be relevant to the alleged violation.
