What is the procedure for declaring Honors?
• In your junior year, you should consult with your advisor to find out what graduate courses will be offered the following year and to identify the faculty members with whom s/he wishes to work. The student is responsible for approaching these professors and asking them to serve as the Honors Project directors. This should be done as soon as possible, preferably in the semester before the senior year. • You also need to complete the Departmental Honors Intent Form, available in 2650 Wescoe, and submit it along with a letter of intent identifying the two professors with whom you would like to work in SPAN 496 and your ARTS form to your adviser. • For more information concerning Honors in Spanish, click here.
