If a game or practice is canceled by the league, you may not play or practice on any field, as doing so is a risk to players and is also likely to damage the field. If the league has not canceled a game, but conditions are such that there is a question as to whether you should play, see the rule book, Section 3.10, A and B. “A” says that if there is a question of whether to play before the game starts, the two managers decide together, and if they can’t agree, you call the Division VP. “B” says that once the game begins, it’s up to the senior umpire.
