What is the procedure for branch pickup?
Branch pickup services are provided by the Village Public Works Department during the spring, summer, and fall. Public Works begins the process of picking up branches on Monday mornings starting at 7:00 AM. In order to ensure your branches are picked up please leave them at the curb before 7:00 AM on Monday. The amount of time the branch pickup process takes varies and sometimes is not finished until Tuesday so please be patient. The branches are turned into wood chips which are used in various projects throughout the Village. They are also made available to residents and businesses. If you need woodchips you may request some from Public Works by calling (847) 671-8554.
