What is the procedure for being promoted to higher command positions?
Once the rank of Lieutenant is attained, there are two possible ways to be promoted to higher ranks. 1) Be elected by your squadron peers to the position of Squadron Leader 2) Be recommended at election time by the outgoing Squadron Leader for promotion for service above and beyond the call of duty. The outgoing Squadron Leader will recommend a maximum of two Warriors to be promoted after which Core Command will approve the promotions. Promoted Warriors will advance one rank level. Those Warriors who win their squadron elections to become CO of their squadron will be promoted in rank by one level only. Ex: if a Lieutenant wins the election, they will be promoted to the rank of Captain. If a Captain wins the election, they will be promoted to Major. But if a Major wins reelection, they do NOT get promoted any longer!
