What is the procedure for applying or renewing my Security Clearance?
For an Initial or Secret Periodic Review, contact the Unit Security Manager. For an Initial or Periodic Top Secret, justification must be provided upon requesting the Investigation. If you are required a TS Clearance according to your Branch, i.e. Military Intelligence, Foreign Area Officer, etc., simply advise the Security Manager and the Officer Records Brief is submitted as justification. ***Please Note, possessing a TS Clearance does not automatically qualify for a renewal of a TS Clearance. There must be a need or requirement in order to maintain a TS Clearance.
