WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE FOR APPLYING FOR THE NCLA EDUCATION GRANT PROGRAM?
The applicant must complete the Education Grant application form and include documentation about the course and/or library-related conference for which he/she is seeking reimbursement. The applicant must also submit a letter from his/her supervisor at a library or library-related institution stating that the course and/or conference is library-related and costs will not be reimbursed by the library or institution. If the applicant has already taken the course or attended the conference within the six months prior to the approval date of the grant award, he/she should also submit satisfactory proof of such. If the applicant intends to take the course or attend the conference within the next six months, he/she will need to submit satisfactory proof of completion or attendance before the grant money is actually paid to the applicant. HOW WILL THE NCLA EDUCATION GRANT PROGRAM BE GIVEN OUT? An Education Grant Program Committee is designated each year by the NCLA President and is made up of
