If you meet the criteria listed above you will be issue a new I-20 form to complete the transfer procedure. You must present Wayne County Community College District with the I-20 from your old school and verification of your full-time status at your previous school. This may be in the form of a transcript or a letter from a school official. With this verification WCCCD will endorse your new I-20 for transfer. If you wish to transfer out of WCCCD to another school, please come in to speak with the International Students Advisor in the District Office. Bring your letter of admission to the new school with you and your transfer form. The new school may want the International Students Advisor to complete the form for transferring. The International Student Advisor will decide on a release date which will be entered in to the SEVIS database. After this release date has been posted to the SEVIS system the new school will be able to produce an I-20 form for you. Be sure to send the new school
