Some Casio E-200 are shipped with a faulty system file in their ROM which can cause your device to crash and loose all its memory content, especially when using games and video applications. Casio provides a software update that corrects the problem. If you have a E-200, it is strongly recommended that you download and install this update. You can download the E-200 update from the following Casio pages: • Casio USA Download Page. • Casio Europe Download Page. The E-200 update is called “E-200-Pocket TV Fix” or “CASSIOPEIA Pocket PC 2002 Update File Version 1.00”. The file to download is a zip archive called PPC2002updt100.zip. To open zip archives, you can use WinZip, StuffIt Expander or ExtractNow. Installation of the E-200 update: First you should make a complete backup (just in case something goes wrong).
