What is the Problem with legalizing marijuana?

0

Interesting question, and I’ve heard it asked over and over and over again. Simply put (and you may not like this, but it’s true), virtually every used of hard drugs (such as heroin, cocaine, etc) started with marijuana. Yes, there are those who will try to suggest that they really started with alcohol, but that’s nonsensical. Alcohol is a legal beverage that can be bought by adults. As long as you do not abuse alcohol, it’s fine. Most people who drink “some” alcohol do not necessarily move over to drugs. I know of ,many baseball players (such as Stan “The Man” Musial, formerly of the St. Louis Cardinals) who started having one glass of wine per day during the late stages of their playing careers, and that did not lead to the use of hard drugs. Once a person “tries” marijuana, he or she gets hooked sooner or later, and eventually decides to “experiment” with harder drugs. Once they get hooked on cocaine, their lives will never be the same again. All in all, it’s better to not even star
