What is the principle of operation for Cellometer® Automatic Cell Counter?
The basic principle of operation is imaging cytometry. It uses a disposable cell counting chamber to spread cells into a thin liquid layer, as is the case for traditional hemacytomer. The total counting area for Auto T4 is equivalent to all four corner squares of hemacytometer. Cellometer® automates cell counting by taking images of cells in the counting chamber, analyzing the number of cells in each image using image analysis, and converting the number of cells into cell concentration.
