What is the Principal Pipeline Project (PPP)?
The Principal Pipeline project is created to establish a unified approach to building a pool of qualified candidates interested in leading HISD schools at the Principal level. Pre-qualifying candidates through various levels of screening equip and prepare HR and hiring administrators to fill leadership vacancies proactively. The Principal Pipeline project creates a pool of exceptional candidates prepared to transition smoothly and expediently into the Principal vacancy, thereby reducing school campus disruption. After vigorous screening and acceptance into the pool, the PPP candidate must be ultimately selected for a specific position by the Chief School Improvement Officer (CSO) and/or School Improvement Officer (SIO) that oversee the school where the vacancy exists.
