What is the Princes May Day Summit?
The Prince’s May Day summit is organised through Business in the Community, and is hosted by HRH The Prince of Wales and supported by the Carbon Trust, The Carbon Neutral Company and Energy Saving Trust . It is the UK’s largest gathering of businesses committed to addressing climate change. Its purpose is to create a network of businesses. Currently the network consists of over 1,300 businesses of varying sizes and sectors that will share best practice and work towards the common goal of reducing the UK’s carbon emissions. During the summit, current and prospective members of the network come together to share knowledge, and work to inspire, engage and support each other.
