The Neuron Agent is a lightweight, fully featured, stand-alone agent that can be easily deployed and configured. Events from Neuron can be directly integrated with standard enterprise management frameworks. The Neuron Agent provides similiar host monitoring functionality (OS and Applications) to the Sun Management Center software without the need for a server component. The Neuron Agent is also supported on multiple platforms including Sun Solaris, Microsoft Windows, Linux, and HP Tru64.
