We recommend the 260/280 ratio should be above 1.8. A quality estimate is done by running RNA samples on agarose-formamide gel and having a clear visualization of presence of intense 28S and 18S rRNA bands. We provide services for RNA quality check by running RNA samples using the Bioanalyzer, but a $20.00 charge per sample will apply.
