What is the Predator/Prey relationship?
The relationship between Predator and Prey is similar to that in our world, with the problems of a civilized society on top of them. Predators are expected to kill and eat prey; prey are expected to resist and escape, but accept their eventual fate. Both sides are expected to use their own natural abilities, without outside or artificial help like firearms, but they can use technology to enhance their own abilities. The rule for predators is essentially ‘Eat what you take, but take only what you will eat’. Prey species show an understandable fear of predators, but do not bear grudges against individuals.
