What is the Pre-note process?

0

The Pre-note process is an automated process between Wisconsin Physicians Service (WPS), TriWest Healthcare Alliance’s claims processor, and the provider’s bank. Until the pre-note process is finalized, the provider will continue to receive paper checks. • If I sign up for both Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) and EFT, when can I expect to see my remittance advice (also known as Explanation of Benefits or EOB), and when will my check be deposited in the bank? If you are set-up for both ERA and EFT, you will receive your ERA approximately two days prior to receiving your EFT. Your electronic payment will post to your account within two business days after approval for payment.
