What is the Pre-enrollment Readiness Profile (PReP) assessment and why should I take it?

PReP is a Web-based assessment tool that evaluates how ready, willing, and able a Soldier is to succeed in online learning. PReP evaluates technical skills, study skills, and independent learning preferences and produces an individually-tailored Readiness Profile for each Soldier. PReP is accessed, completed, and scored entirely online, and provides access to skill-building exercises to help prepare learners for online success. When Soldiers complete the PReP assessment, the results are posted to the Soldier’s Student Record. Both the Soldier and the Army Education Counselor may review and discuss.
