WHAT IS THE PRE CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE VBEAM™ FACIAL SPIDER VEIN REMOVAL PROCEDURE?
Typically, we ask our patients to discontinue the use of retinoic acid products and glycolic acid products for 3 to 4 days before your treatment. It is also wise to stay out of intense sunlight (or tanning beds) beginning 1 week prior to your treatment. HOW MUCH DISCOMFORT CAN I EXPECT FROM THE TREATMENT? There is minimal discomfort with our VBeam™ facial spider vein removal procedure. A cooling spray is applied with the VBeam™ laser procedure. Pain usually is described as a very mild “rubber” band snap discomfort. Cool compresses and medications such as Motrin™ or Advil™ can readily help to alleviate any discomfort. HOW LONG DOES THE SKIN TAKE TO HEAL? VBeam™ facial spider vein removal is minimally traumatic to the skin. Slight bruising or purpura is all that is noted post op. Depending on the location, bruising can take up to ten days to resolve. WHAT ABOUT POST OP CARE? We recommend a post laser kit.
