Passing the Praxis II exam in your content licensure area is not required for program admission. Elementary T to T Participants: Students in the Elementary T to T program must pass the Praxis II exam before the end of the student teaching experience in order to obtain an initial license. Secondary T to T Participants: Students in the Secondary T to T program must pass the Praxis II content area exam to begin your student teaching experience. If you have any concerns about passing this exam, purchase the appropriate commercially-available test preparation materials and/or high school textbooks and begin preparing now. Secondary T to T students should plan to take the Praxis II exam no later than November.
