What is the potential for a hurricane affecting our vacation?
Hurricanes are a reality anywhere in the Caribbean and southern United States during the summer and fall. The southern coast of Mexico where we are located is considered a low risk for hurricanes. Despite the fact that we are not in a high risk area we do monitor the weather channels daily during the season ( June – Nov ) and have an evacuation plan in place in the unlikely event that we are ever threatened by one of these storms.
