What is the post-event review process?
Safety Problem Report and Investigation (SPRI) forms are attached in the back of the AED carry bags. It is a QUT process for gathering first-hand information about any critical incidents and it is absolutely imperative that those involved in a sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) incident fill out such a form immediately and send to Health and Safety Advisory Services for further investigation. Also, after each SCA incident, Security will immediately notify Health and Safety Advisory Services which will be responsible for AED data retrieval and analysis. Health and Safety Advisory Services will follow up with Security on areas for improvement in future response plans if deemed necessary.
