What is the Positive Behaviour Support Policy?
The Positive Behaviour Support policy became effective from 1 March 2009 for departmental staff, foster and kinship carers and direct care staff. The policy requires the department and licensed care services to appropriately plan and contribute to the positive behaviour support of each child or young person placed.
