What is the Population of Muslims in Israel?
Using the CIA world factbook’s 2004 statistics on Israel, there are about 1.1million Muslims in a population of 7.1million. I don’t think that includes West Bank and Gaza, which has millions more. There are Indian and Arab Jews. I consider Judaism a faith, as people can convert into and out of it, but some Jewish people disagree. To be considered religiously Jewish, you have to be born of a Jewish mother or convert into it. Israeli law recognizes a person as Jewish (and/or eligible for aliyah) if they are Jewish, or either parent is or they have Jewish ancestry.
