The population of Georgetown, Maine was 1,020 at the 2000 census. At one time, Georgetown encompassed many area towns, including Arrowsic, Maine Arrowsic and Bath, Maine Bath. Georgetown, located on an island, is accessible by car from the mainland. The island lies near the mouth of the Kennebec River, and is home to Reid State Park.
