The population of College Park, Georgia was 20,382 (Fulton: 18,810; Clayton: 1,572). College Park is a predominantly African American city adjacent to the busy Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Just west of the Atlanta Airport is the Georgia International Convention Center (opened April 2003), which is Georgia’s second largest convention center– second only to the Georgia World Congress Center. The GICC is owned and operated by the City of College Park.
