What is the Popcorn Sales drive?
The popcorn sales drive is our Pack’s largest and most important fundraiser. All scouts are required to participate and make $150 in sales. Sales forms are mailed to all existing scouts in August and are available at our September Pack Night. Completed order forms and a check written to Pack 442 must be turned in at our October Pack Night. Scouts may choose not to participate in the program and instead “buy-out” for $75, however this is highly discouraged. This is an opportunity for scouts to experience sales, develop public speaking skills, and learn record keeping and logistical skills. In addition to BSA’s prizes, our Pack participates in a “Pie the Cubmaster” activity. Scouts selling $250 earn one whipped cream pie to throw at the Cubmaster. Each additional $50 in sales earns one additional pie, with a four pie maximum. You may also create an account on trails-end.com and make sales online. Your scout will receive credit (for prizes and Pie the Cubmaster) for all sales made through
