Patrick Joseph Kennedy II (born July 14, 1967) is an American Democrat serving in the United States House of Representatives, representing the 1st congressional district of Rhode Island (map). He is the second son (and third child) of U.S. Senator Edward M. Kennedy from Massachusetts. He is also the nephew of U.S. President John F. Kennedy and U.S. Senator Robert F. Kennedy from New York.
