What is the policy on swearing and “adult” issues?
We used to have a strong policy on swearing and adult discussion, largely because I used to use a computer system that had a heavy censorship firewall, and simply would not allow many posts with crude language to go through. However, I hardly ever have to rely on that system now, and since I’m not an advocate of censorship, we won’t stop people swearing or discussing adult topics. Frequently we’ll discuss relationships, and this may involve sex; in particular, we have several posters (including the board owner) who are gay, bisexual or have other (wilder ^^;) sexual preferences, and we won’t get on anyone’s case about their sexuality or fetishes – in fact, we encourage discussion of such topics. There will probably also be a fair bit of sexual humour thrown around from time to time: bondage-play, used schoolgirl uniforms, panty vending machines, and the like. ^^;; Bottom line is, if you really disapprove of this kind of thing you may not want to come in.
