What is the policy on student raises?

Longevity increases – A student employee is eligible, and will receive a $0.20 longevity increase, after 3 consecutive quarters and at the beginning or the fourth quarter of service. If a minimum wage adjustment is made during the same quarter as the longevity increase, then the student employee will get the longevity increase and the minimum wage adjustment. If the minimum stays the same, then the student employee only gets the longevity increase. Minimum wage adjustment – If either the State Legislators or the Libraries increase the minimum wage, the student employee will be brought to the new minimum. If the student employee is due for a longevity increase at the same time (in the same quarter as the adjustment), then the student employee will also get the longevity increase. If the student employee is not eligible for the longevity increase in that same quarter, the student employee will only get the minimum wage adjustment. A longevity increase is not made on top of a minimum wage
