What is the policy on exchanging tickets?
Subscribers can exchange there tickets free of charge up to 24 hours in advance of their show date. When exchanging the date of your performance, only alternate dates of the same production are applicable, within the same price code (day of the week and seat location based on availability). Upgrade charges may apply.
Need to exchange your tickets to a performance? The Old Globe is happy to help! As a subscriber, simply call the Ticket Services Department at 619-23-GLOBE (619-234-5623) at least 24 hours prior to the time printed on your ticket and we will find another performance of the same show that works with your schedule. All exchanges are free. However, if you exchange into a higher priced performance, upgrade fees do apply (sorry, no refunds). Not a subscriber? Non-subscribers may also exchange tickets for a $3 per ticket exchange fee, plus applicable upgrade fees. You can exchange your tickets in person at our box poffice (open noon daily) or by fax (see below). Sorry – phone exchanges are a benefit of subscribing.
