What is the policy on adoption?
The goal of our application process is to ensure a good, safe, and loving home for our shelter animals. In turn we strive to help match the family or person to the best possible animal for their lifestyle, needs, and level of care. When you do decide which companion animal you like most, we try to give you a heads up on any quirky habits they may have and give you guidance and advise to help insure a safe and happy transition. Don’t be hesitant to ask questions. The fees are $75.00 for any animal here which includes thepay or neuter, most routine vaccinations and a variety of additional services. You will be asked several questions, just please keep in mind it’s in the best interest of you and your companion animal to answer honestly. We do require a fenced yard and a home visit for most large breed dogs and we do reserve the right refuse an adoption to anyone we feel is not a good match.
