Snow clearing policy is a program developed to maintain the city’s roadways and sidewalks ensuring good winter driving conditions for motorist and pedestrians, and to enhance accessibility for Police, Fire/Ambulance services. Services for snow clearance are determined by the level of Priority of the streets. Priority P (P1) – Includes all Regional Streets. These include streets that are highly utilized. Priority II (PII) – These are non-regional bus routes and collectors streets. Priority III (PIII) – These are residential streets or industrial streets that are not regularly used.
