What is the policy for making up a missed test?

Without a valid excuse, no student will be permitted to make up a missed test or any other in-class exercise. Forgetting the date of a test is not a valid excuse. If you have missed a test or exercise contact the instructor as soon as possible. It is completely up to the discretion of the instructor to determine if a provided excuse is valid. If a student has a valid excuse, then an arrangement will be made to take a make up. If you know in advance that you will miss a test, then contact the instructor in advance to arrange for a make up.
