What is the policy for confidential student information sharing? Will staff be allowed by policy to email and share documents within FERPA guidelines?

All staff are expected to adhere to FERPA guidelines in their use of lpsk12.org just as they are with any other communication tools. Please see Information Security pamphlet for guidance. In general, lpsk12.org is less secure than our district file servers so it is not a good place to keep sensitive information.
