What is the point of nature vs nurture?
You could look at any person in general and do the ‘genes’ vs ‘upbringing’, eitherway homosexulity is fine and labels arent needed since I feel a person has a percentage to be attracted to one sex rather than the other. I am a strong ‘nurture > nature’ person for majority of stuff in regards to environmental behaviour but nature plays the role for most stuff. It is kindda difficult to explain, either way homosexuality IS natural, been proven many times in many ways, the same way a child is born and doesnt like certain food at 1 day old is the same way they will like their own / opposite sex.
Nature vs nurture is an investigative theory tool that used to explore many situations; adoption, aggressive behavior, sociopathic personalities… The point of applying that tool is for the purpose of exploring the possibilities of the origin of different human actions and behaviors. The reality of the origin of behaviors isn’t determined by these questions but society has way of demanding answers to what some label as being outside the definition of “normal”. Frankly what is discovered doesn’t matter at all. We all are what we are. Someone should figure a way to make that be okay for everyone and let go of the need for reasons and explanations for being human.
