What is the planting process for the Water Wick Planter?
Just plant your plants in the perlite planting medium (provided) and fill the rest of the self watering planter pot with good potting mix. Then fill reservoir with 2 1/2 gallons of tap water. The water will absorb up the wick through the perlite to provide moisture to the plant automatically. For the next month or two, you won’t have to do another thing. In about a couple of months, simply change the water, and add a light solution of water soluble plant food and that’s it for two more months. It couldn’t be easier.
