What is the plan for the American Indian and Alaska Native (AIAN) Program?
To work in partnership with federally recognized tribes and reach out to their communities to promote the importance of a complete and accurate census count to emphasize that an accurate count positively affects their funding for tribal programs. Our plan also includes outreach to state recognized tribes, urban and rural AIAN populations, and AIAN organizations and media.
