What is the physiological cause for yawning?

I agree 100% with what you’re saying. Telling someone not to yawn, is like telling someone not to cough or sneeze. And when you yawned it wasn’t rude. It’s just your teacher. My teachers don’t say anything when I yawn. I don’t even think they notice. Yeah it’s basically a Physiological cause. I wouldn’t have walked out but I would’ve been pissed off from what your teacher said. No one can help if they yawn. It’s also like telling someone not to cough or sneeze like you said, and burping, farting (which are bodily functions and no one can help), and puking. Or also breathing heavily which is another thing that pisses teachers off. People with asthma or claustrophobia breathe heavily a lot. For example, like me, I have Claustrophobia and I start to have panic attacks which gives me nervous reactions, makes me nauseous, and sweaty. Yeah, I agree with everything that you’re saying.
