What is the PHS Senior Living Foundation? How does it benefit assisted living residents?
The PHS Senior Living Foundation is the fundraising arm of the PHS organization. The Foundation helps to fund a variety of programs and service enhancements for residents of PHS assisted living communities, as well as helping to fund special events and activities. These include assisting in the purchase, maintenance, and operation of motor coaches; supplementing medical services such as occupational and physical therapy; helping to provide life-long learning and other education programming; and contributing toward pastoral care and chaplaincy programs. PHS assisted living communities may also apply to the Foundation for program grants or to address specific resident needs.
