What is the philosophy behind the type of songs and music we use in worship?

We believe that God is honored not only from one type of music genre but by anything that is sincerely used to give him glory and praise. However, we specifically choose a contemporary style of music led by a band and singers to appeal to a broad range of modern tastes. While we don’t go to extremes and choose styles such hip-hop or big-band which have a limited appreciation base, we try to pick a middle ground that will have the greatest affect in helping you connect with our Living God. We even still use hymns because they seem to be timeless powerful songs that resonate with our hearts and help us have a ‘moment with God’ almost instantly.
