What is the Personal Assurance Message?

0

You can set your Personal Assurance Message when you register a card for the service. When you shop online at participating retailers you should look for your Personal Assurance Message in the password request box. This is to assure you that it us asking you for your password, and nobody else. You shouldn’t input your password into any box which doesn’t show your Personal Assurance Message. If you registered via a pop-up (or in-line) window during an online purchase, your Personal Assurance Message will show our standard default message. You will need to set your own Personal Assurance Message as soon as possible. Go to our Verified by Visa registration site at https://secure6.arcot.com/vpas/firstdirect, select ‘Update Info’ and log in as instructed.
