What is the person specification for governors?
A. Governors must have a passionate commitment to the values and philosophy of the NHS. They should have some direct experience of NHS services but this could be in a variety of roles – as a staff member, patient, carer, within the voluntary sector, within associated statutory services or as an interested member of the public. They must also have a number of important personal qualities such as integrity, self confidence and the ability to present their ideas clearly and persuasively.
