What is the “Perfect Day” thing I am hearing about with regard to al qaeda?
According to Glenn Beck, conservative radio talk host, “the perfect day” is an idea that terrorist cells throughout the world who are not part of a network, as well as individuals acting on their own, are being encouraged to be ready for a major terrorist attack on the U.S., which will also be the “GO” sign for them act. It is believed by Beck that this major attack could well include actions against American school children. He is asking people not to react against the Muslem community in retaliation, because this is what the terrorists want, as such massive retaliation against innocent Muslems would turn Muslems and many others world-wide against the U.S. Beck also is telling people that, if there is an incident at a school such as a hostage situation, not to go to the school, as it is likely the terrorists’ plan is to attract as many people to that location as possible so that the casualties will be much greater.
