What is the percentage of mormons who do drink alcohol?
I don’t think there is a statistic for that 🙂 no, they don’t drink. Especially Utah Mormons. I’m in Maryland and once I was invited for dinner, I brought some smirnoff ice with me… I didn’t know the husband was Mormon, he said he couldn’t drink, but after his 19 year old daughter left, he had one. He’s not active LDS at the moment (I know he talks to his bishop) , and he has drinking problem, he is so messed up. I feel bad for him. But he put himself in that position in the first place. I also talked to this one guy who lives in North Salt Lake City area and he said he drank a few times and now most of his friends look down on him. Other than that, I don’t know any LDS who drink. They are not supposed to, and I actually believe that most of them don’t.
