What is the percentage of catholic gay priests?
This is of course impossible to answer but the proportion of gay males who are catholic must be the same as there rest of the population but I am sure the circumstances under which Roman Catholic priests live and work must attract a larger proportion of gay men than would be the case for priests in other religions
Worldwide, it is a very small number. In the United States, the number is at least 15%. Homosexual activity is a grave sin and thus no priest who is a homosexual should be allowed to serve as a priest. The church should turn over to the police any and all evidence they have on any homosexual (and hetrosexual though those cases make up less than 20% of the total) crimes committed against children and all homosexual priests should immediately be removed from their duties and not be allowed to return. The church has NO moral authority until all criminal pedophile priests are removed from the church and brought to justice.
