One of 12 Governor’s Schools across the state, each focusing on a different topic, the new Pennsylvania Governor’s School for Urban Teaching is a 5-week-long, university-based, summer residential program, hosted by the College of Education at Temple University. This Governor’s School is designed to attract, encourage, motivate, and prepare talented high school students particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds and communities to higher education and careers in urban teaching.
