What is the penalty for not taking the CE courses?
The Council issues a citation and can charge a penalty of $100 and the costs of investigation as follows: “Falsely certifying timely completion of required CE courses for renewal or initial licensure if completed by the time the citation is to be issued, and a penalty of $100 per contact hour wrongfully claimed.” Council Rule 64B8-44.005 (3) (d), F.A.C.
