What is the penalty for missing an interview?
It depends on the reason that you missed the interview. The following are some general guidelines: 1. Generally excused provided you have documentation and inform the UCSO in advance: a) You were scheduled for a conflicting second interview too late to cancel from the missed interview. b) You were ill (documented by a doctor’s visit). c) Funeral or other unforeseeable emergence (remember to provide supporting documentation) d) Accepted a position with another company within the two business days prior to the interview. 2. Reasons that are NOT excused: a) Overslept. b) Forgot. c) Not really interested in the company after all. 3. No-shows are EXTREMELY damaging to our relationship with employers. If you do not comply with the procedures detailed below, you will be permanently BANNED from bidding. The Associate Director of Student Services will consider any appeal.
