What is the penalty for failing to obtain a proper license?
New Business License applications are due prior to the start of any business. If it is determined that a business was operated prior to obtaining a Business License, penalties and interest will apply based on the actual start date of the business. If our office is notified of a business operating without a BL, we will pursue the business, up to and including possible legal action.
